RJ Taylor has an MFA from Emerson College and was part of the pilot year of the Grub Street Novel Incubator program, a year-long intensive novel writing and revision course. She’s also had the honor of participating in three Out of Excuses Writing Retreats studying with Brandon Sanderson, Mary Robinette Kowal, Howard Tayler, and Dan Wells. Her short pieces have been shortlisted for the Bridport Prize, appeared in Quarter After Eight, and received honorable mention in the Glimmertrain Short Story contest. She‘s lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Adelaide, South Australia, Santa Cruz, California and currently resides in Somerville, Massachusetts, where she splits her time between writing and working as a librarian.
